The first Baptist Mission Center of the Roanoke Valley Baptist Association was opened in 1939 and began operation on Salem Avenue with Miss Annie Mae Broyles as its first Missionary Director.
One of the two mission centers, formally known as Baptist Community Center, separated from the Roanoke Valley Baptist Association (RVBA) in 2017 and became known as Keystone Community Center, Inc. Since our new beginning in 2017, we have been actively working hard to share the love of Christ through our different programs to both kids and adults in our community.
We are forever grateful for the work and support of the Women's Missionary Union of the Roanoke Valley and the Roanoke Valley Baptist Association.
"So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord."
