Backpack DriveThis program accommodates students Pre-K through college. In the months of June and July, school supplies are collected with the goal of collecting enough for 150 backpacks. This past year (2023) KCC was able to give out over 120 backpacks (to those who had signed up) through many donations and the support within the community.

Backyard GardenThis year-round program impacts ten to twelve families on how to grow food in their own yard. Employees and volunteers fence in a small section of the yard and teach the families how to nurture and harvest the food, as well as preserving it by freezing or canning. Weekly visits are provided with a short devotion to see what needs have to be met. The plants and supplies are provided by KCC- making this one of our more expensive programs. In 2023, over 400 jars of food was preserved!

Love Our TeachersThis program in February provides the opportunity to give all of the teachers at Fallon Park Elementary an encouraging note and a bag of school supplies to restock what has already been used earlier in the school year. We love and appreciate the hard work our teachers do!
