5k RaceJust when the beginning of summer comes around, Keystone puts on a 5k Race that is open to the public to meet more people in our area! All proceeds go to our ministry directly. We have runners from all over who come to participate. It is a great opportunity for our community to be exposed to what we do here at the community center as well as have a great time of fellowship with family and friends!

GIVE RoanokeKeystone is a nonprofit organization that is connected to GIVE Roanoke, a day of giving driven by social media exposure and teamwork within our community. This day of virtual giving is on April 19 this year from midnight until 11:59pm.

Tab CollectionsEver wonder what to do with the tab of a can after you're done fiddling with it for a while? We are collecting them! Sounds silly, but if you are a group of people or an individual looking to help our ministry, this is a very simple way to come alongside us! Once an individual or a group has a bag or bucket full of tabs, Keystone can use your collecting to bless a lot of individuals. Simply reach out to our center if you have a collection of them!

Mites for MissionsThis idea is based upon the words of Christ in Mark 12:42-43 as he was telling his disciples the story of the widow giving two mites (all she had monetarily) back to God. This program is a simple way to teach children about tithing and being good stewards of money they have earned. Since dimes are a tenth of a dollar, this program encourages children to fill different size plastic bottles with dimes to see how giving something little can multiply into much.
Keystone provides bottles with labels for anyone wanting to try this program with their community! |
